About: Hello, my name is Stacie Elaine Van Arsdale, some of my friends call me Ace, but I secretly refer to myself as Space Woman Warrior Girl. I grew up in Utah...I'm not going to expound on that, as I think it may seem somewhat boring and I want to come off as cool as possible.
I've always considered myself an artist. I wasn't always a very good one, but I worked very hard at it and I have become satisfied with most of my work. I enjoy a wide variety of mediums.Some of my favorites are cardboard, wool, plastic toys, gouache, and fabric. I describe my work as a sort of funky stylized illustration. My work tends to be narrative based and includes many imaginary characters. Lately I've been playing with the idea of snake-like cats.
